Units are objects placable through the Mission Editor. They are stationary or mobile, and represent vehicles or structures. They are have hit detection, a damage model, and are destroyable. The models of destroyed units are persistent with the exception of air units whose broken pieces explode and despawn after free falling for some time. Most units have weapons that can engage other units, and therefore also have AI to control their behavior. Actions are used to control AI behavior in addition to the the options available in the units configuration menu found in the mission editor.
Allied air units in the same unit group as the player are tagged as wingmen and respond to COMM selections.
Unit Classes Edit
- Ground Units are placable on land at 0m above ground level.
- Air Units cannot be placed on water.
- Sea Units are only placeable in water at 0m above sea level.
